Jonita Floyd is a highly proficient Sr. IT Project Engineering & Portfolio Manager with Genuine Parts Company.  She has over 15 years of experience in Information Technology with a successful track record of cost-saving & innovative solutions to complex problems.  Ms. Floyd has managed projects in excess of $4.5 million dollars with over 50 technical resources.  She has exceptional contract negotiations and vendor management experience that allows her to strategically align resources to meet key business initiatives.

Ms. Floyd holds a Master’s of Science degree in Technology Management from Mercer University, Atlanta GA and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Talladega College, Talladega AL.  She is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) ® certification.  Jonita is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.

Additionally, Ms. Floyd is a licensed Real Estate Broker and holds certifications as a Real Estate Technology Specialist (RETS), Certified Neighborhood Specialist (CNS), and a Real Estate Owned Specialist (REOS).

Ms. Floyd is honored and excited to serve on the board of Project Interconnections, where she plans to fully utilize her skills and expertise to help devise additional /enhanced housing solutions for adults facing the challenges of mental illness and homelessness in Metro Atlanta.
